The film follows Melinda, a 15-year-old girl who was raped by a senior in a summer party. Obsessed by the tragic experience, Melinda becomes cranky and has difficult in communicating with others. Years later, with the help from her best friend and her art teacher, Melinda painfully tries to speak and gain back her confidence.
