The film follows Max Doyle, who takes some objects from a haunted house to help his ghost friends Nicky and Tara, upsetting a whole bunch of spirits in the process. Then, after Nicky and Tara are kidnapped and held as prisoners by the evil Simon, it's left to Max to save the day.
