A military comedy set in World War II in occupied France following a group of U.S soldiers led by Kelly who, after capturing a German officer, learns the location of a bank housing 14,000 bars of Nazi gold. Kelly and his men set a plan to steal the booty. The only problem is that the treasure is located thirty miles behind enemy lines.
