In this comedy from director John Eyres, Eddie Griffin stars as Jimmy McDevitt, a South Central, LA con-artist who finds out that his rhyming skills can pay off in the least likely of venues after winning a poetry contest. The contest is hosted by residents of a crafty Irish village, in order to save their village from being sold to the banks.
