Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Starring Richard Dreyfuss, François Truffaut and Teri Garr, this sci-fi drama from director Steven Spielberg features Roy Neary, an electrical lineman who along with several other stunned bystanders experience a close encounter of the first kind - witnessing UFOs soaring across the sky. Neary's wife and children are at first skeptical, then concerned, and eventually fearful, as Roy refuses to accept a "logical" explanation for what he saw and is prepared to give up everything to pursue the "truth" about UFOs.
