The movie revolves around Emilia Greenleaf, a Harvard law school graduate and a newlywed, having just married a high-powered NY lawyer Jack, who is having problems through her grief to connect with her new stepson William and to deal with her husband’s jealous ex-wife while attempting to come to terms with the loss of her newborn.
