Texas Across the River

The wedding of debutante Phoebe Ann Naylor to Spanish nobleman Don Andrea de Baldasar in Louisiana 1845 is interrupted by the Cavalry over a matter of honor. Being framed for a murder, Don Andrea escapes promising to meet up with Phoebe Ann across the river in Texas. There, he encounters Sam Hollis and his Indian sidekick, Kronk transporting rifles to the town of Moccasin Flats. As the adventure progresses, Don Andrea saves Indian maiden Lonetta, tames some longhorns, eludes a Comanche war party and the cavalry, and most important, competes with Sam to win his own fiancee's heart.
