As whimsical inventor Allie Fox decides to leave the United States and takes his family to Central America, he determines on creating a utopia in the middle of the jungle. There he urges everyone to live off what nature suppies and begins to realize his theory of an ideal environment. His family's increasing discontentment, an annoying local preacher and capricious nature are just small challenges to his growing obsession and aggressiveness.
