Description:
West Side Story 1961 was set in the Upper West Side of New York in the late 1950s, with two hostile gangs: Jets and Sharks. The Jets included New York people - the first generation of the New World in the early decades of the 19th century. The Sharks were Puerto Rican immigrants. Hostility of the two gangs often led to a public war after Tony loved Maria.
