The musician 23-year-old Eleanor struggles with her life: estranged from family, having slacker boyfriend troubles, and fired from her waitressing job. She finds a new job as a babysitter for Reggie, a 12-year-old cello prodigy, who has everything except friends and his parent's care. The two soon finds the same tune in their soul, thanks to the mutual interest of music.
