Description:
This film follows the adventure of a young monk, Hereward, to deliver the "Holy Gospel of Lindisfarne" - a book of great beauty and power - to a safe place in the Monastery of Iona. During his journey, he meets a skilled swordsman who becomes his partner and protects him against the pursuit of a Viking death squad hellbent on retrieving the book.
