In a post-apocalyptic world, the enigmatic swordsman Nomad wanders through the desert to looking for the one who killed his mentor, the assassin Sho. He reaches to the town of Meridian, where residents are threatened by a local landowner and his gang who want to monopolize on the local water supply, and decides to help them go againts the gang.
