Butch Cassidy is the leader of the outlaw Hole in the Wall Gang, a gang of train robbers, and the Sundance Kid is his closest companion. The Gang plans to rob the Union Pacific Overland Flyer train on both of its two ways. The first goes well, but the second fails since the train owner has recruited six lawmen to pursue Butch and Sundance. They escape successful but have to flee to Bolivia.
