"Big eyes" is based on the true story of Walter Keane, who is one of the most successful painters of the 1950s and early 1960s. But actually, his art is not created by himself but by his wife, Margaret. When Margaret awakens as an artist, she faces the subsequent legal difficulties with her husband, who claimed credit for all of her works.
