Bu (Shu Qi) is a beautiful young girl from a small Taiwanese fishing village who discovers a romantic message in a bottle and decides to leave for Hong Kong to search for its writer with expectation of a romantic love. She's disappointed since the message writer is a lonly gay man. However, she meets C.N, a kind-hearted professional fighter and falls in love with him instead.
