The Connection

This 70's-period crime thriller is inspired by true events of the French Connection in the 1970s. Marseilles judge Pierre Michel and his drastic campaign to take down the most montrous drug smuggling organization in history: the French Connection. The drug lord is mysterious and wealthy kingpin Gatean "Tany" Zampa, who rules the biggest underground heroin business into the States. Though the courage and persistent Michel, aided by a task force of brilliant cops, will stop at nothing--including boldly orchestrated drug raids, intense roundup, and strained interrogations--to eliminate the crime ring to its deepest roots.
